Our webmaster recieved a hand written letter (rare) and printed photos of these wonderful images (May 11th).

"You may remember that back in Nov '09 I sent you photos of my Prince August Legions in the making.

I have now completed both Legions (Feb 2010) and am well on the way to completing my Barbarian Army to fight them (only another 9 warbands of 18 figures each!)

I have enclosed some more photos of the complete legions as many Barbarians as I had made and painted in early April 2010 (including the magnificent Barbarian Command Group which you very kindly sent me)

"I thought you might like to see the enclosed photographs of my half completed legion & barbarians made with your moulds. I intend having 2 legions each containing 180 figures (10 cohorts of 18 figures each) and a matching number of Barbarian warbands.

As an experienced wargamer I have been collecting figures from various manufacturers over the past 38 years and can honestly say that your latest moulds are superb!

I hope in 2010 to be able to afford some command figures to complete my legions. I also intend writing a review and report with photographs, to the 2 main wargaming magazines 'Wargames Illustrated' & 'Miniature Wargames' in the very near future.

As you will no doubt notice in the enclosed photographs I have converted quite a few of the figures by simply chopping down arms or bending arms to achieve variety in the barbarians or to make the Roman stance more historically accurate (shield positions)."
