1 ½ Mid Term Magical Painting
and Diorama Fairy Tree workshop:
Enter a fantastic forest and meet the Tree Fairy, a beautiful
creature who needs a helping hand on decorating her new magic
tree. Can you help?.
As well as casting a panting your own fairy in this workshop you
can create you own Magical Fairy Tree.
Cost: €20 pp suitable for 6 years plus
(90min).

Hands
on Experience, Exhilarating and Great Craic.
There is no fake machinery or actors; it’s the REAL working
factory, with REAL workers and REAL processes. Our demonstrations
give first hand learning experience that includes visual and tactile
methods.
Painting
Workshop Daily:
Painting miniatures is ideal for children age 6 & upwards,
no experience required. People of all ages can enjoy painting
miniatures. The adult enjoys it as much if not more than the child.
The novice painter can get help from our friendly staff who are
happy to explain the process.

Rewarding and satisfying are just two words hobby casting fans
use when describing their love of casting metal soldiers or chess
pieces. Many produce huge battlefields of troops or remodel our
soldiers to fit a certain theme.

Prince August Toy Soldier Factory is situated
between Killarney town and Cork City on the N22 main road in South
West Ireland, only a short distance from Macroom Town. The Factory
produces hundreds of different black vulcanised rubber moulds
that allow you, the customer, to cast your own model soldiers,
chess sets and other figures and animals in metal as many times
as you wish.
We receive thousands of tourists every year
who chose wisely when taking their vacation in the Rebel county
(Cork), the largest county in Ireland, rich with history and folklore,
and all our visitors enjoy experiencing first hand how to cast
a miniature and can take part in friendly tours and detailed guides
around our cozy factory.
Our Gift Shop is filled with hand painted soldiers
and themed chess sets from many time periods in history as well
as fantasy creatures, even jolly little leprechauns. Our Visitor
Centre also has an impressive collection of gorgeous jewellery,
statues, pewter, silver, pottery, glass and leather giftware from
many local irish artists. All Non- European Union visitors can
also avail of 17.26% tax back.
