While all visitors are free
to enter the factory (staff areas are clearly marked) and view
the galleries of miniatures at any time during our opening hours,
we do organise official factory tours for groups on request.
All tours start with our demonstration on how
to cast, as it is a fundamental part of what we do in the factory.
This normally takes about 5 to 7 minutes.
After that a staff guide will bring you around
the factory and introduce you to the key personal and purpose
of each department. Meet the Mould Maker making the moulds and
the Mould Caster casting the figures and watch in amazement the
painters painting the miniatures.
All tours will include a history of the factory,
and questions are always welcome. The tour is estimated to take
15 minutes.
A visit to the Gift Shop is a must where you
can come face to face with historic figures such Michael Collins
(famous irish soldier), Brian Boru (High King of Ireland), Saint
Patrick, Cúchulainn (Mythological Ulster Hero) and many
many more. You even might take home your own casting kit and start
your own army. All Non- European Union visitors can also avail
of 17.35% tax back.
A group photo can be taken before you
leave as a keepsake of your visit.
